The Courage to Fire Your Boss, Do You Have What it Takes?
If you want to achieve success in your life, the first question you should ask yourself is: Do I have the courage to succeed? You can have success only by having the necessary courage to handle success and to succeed.
So what is courage?
Courage is the ability to confront difficulty, hardships, pain, etc without allowing yourself get side tracked from the course of action you have chosen.
So, ask yourself if you have the necessary courage to walk the road to success? Easy question? How you view courage and how you feel about it, regarding yourself, is likely to have a lot to do with what your answer will sound like.
All around us, we see people who have had courage, be them historical figures, family members, or even complete strangers. But, have we ever explored our own courage and its relation to personal success?
For many of us courage is walking down a dark street, and whistling so as not to be scared, or did something funny when we were really scared, or saving someone from a difficult situation, by putting yourself at jeopardy. Well, in all these cases, our greatest fear was actually deep in our thoughts, and courage one essential component of the self leadership skills, that we all need.
In achieving success and in your personal development, having the courage to change compulsory, due to inert risks one takes when for instance investing a lot of time, energy and money into something.
If you are for instance a small business owner or an entrepreneur, this means you are also a risk taker, so you need the courage to risk through. If one of two similar businesses doesn’t succeed while the other one flourishes, it only means that whoever was running it lacked the courage to continue and risk. Is this explanation good enough, for success?
Throughout our life we also need courage when doing what you want to do, even when those around you advise you not to. In these cases, speak your mind, and do as your impulses tell you, and even this is a simple act of courage. Always remember, even if you decide to change something, to keep your integrity intact.
Courage is also about maintaining your sense of humor, even when life is not so funny, because living this life is all about finding the courage to behave accordingly, much like the behavior successful business owners consistently demonstrate through their leadership skills.
So, keep your sense of humor, enforces with enthusiasm. This is what can sustain your When one lives with courage, the strength we are all after is within us every step of the way, as courage comes from within us.
Courage is not something that needs to be learnt from anyone. It is some kind of energy residing in us that only needs to be exploited to our good and life filled with successes.
