Stop Wasting Your Life Reading “How To” Articles

Yeah, I know what you’re doing. You’re trying to learn stuff. You think that if you learn more, you’ll become smarter, more capable and eventually will have a greater potential to do stuff.

But you’re wrong! Your potential to achieve great things has nothing to do with how much you read. Yes, there is a small amount of learning that you must do if you are to be successful. However, the aforementioned amount can be measured in hours of instruction, not weeks, months or even years as advocated by most.

For example, did you know that Henry Ford, founder of Ford Motor Company, never finished grade school? That’s right. Forget about being college educated, this guy didn’t even get past the 5th grade! And this was in a time when having a college degree actually meant something.

Not like today!

But I digress…

The point is that you need to WANT what you want to achieve. You need to want it so bad that you think of nothing else. You need to want it so bad that you just want to work on it and it alone, to the detriment of all your other stupid hobbies. Want to be rich? THEN WORK ON BEING RICH!

Want to pick up girls. WORK ON IT!

STOP READING HOW TO ARTICLES.

I hear you saying, “But how will I know what to do unless I read about it!”

BY DOING! Just get out there and do stuff. It doesn’t matter if you’re not making any progress. The experience that you gain by trying different things out is FAR MORE VALUABLE than some random facts you’re going to forget immediately after putting down the article.

People who are successful ARE so because they put their all into whatever they want to succeed in. The amount of work they put into is probably characterized by other people as an “unhealthy obsession.”

This is the level at which you need to be if you want to achieve your dreams!

Go out there and be unhealthily obsessed!

Further Ideas

I understand the point in this article, but please, I prefer tio look at this from a balance point.

Yes, the author is talking about Action,

However, I read, and I act.  I recommend readibng something, and then acting on it, and then, a week later, add to your reading and so on.

I highly recommend the Self Help Database for the best books at great prices, that most can afford.  Remember, learn, and act.

I am also a very keen user of, and recommend the Six Minute Success System. It works, and you can apply, and remind yourself of it daily.
