What do I mean here?  What am I saying?

If you are in business, or even an employee, is it not about earning as much as you can?

No, it;'s not.  Well, you could say it is, for the very short term. And then what?

You see, I have found, from my multiple reading, as well as study of making money, on a spiritual, physical, and general plane, that it is really an issue of meeting several other requirements first, before being able to make any money at all. It's fundamentally about being of useful, and beneficial service to others.

That is the short answer, but I can understand you have many more questions to answer there.  You see, I have found there are a number of things we need to get right first, in order to actually see the money flow into our lives later on, almost as an automatic side factor. It's essentially, a universal law, and these kinds of laws can't be broken. There is always equality in this sense, and as the saying goes, what goes around comes around.

I heard this phrase some time ago, and wanted to share my thoughts, as well as experiences about this important topic. I will explain in the best way I can, how we can better our approach to wealth, and against popular belief, it's not about thinking about the money. Now, I understand that some of you will be nodding your heads in amazement. How can it not be about the money? After all, do we not attract what we think about? The answer is a resounding yes, but it is also about a directed focus, and intention.

To best answer this question, I am going to cover a number of points. They will not be the entire list of possibilities, as that would take volumes of writing to cover. However, my short list of points include the issues of

• Leverage
• Doing what you love and generally derive satisfaction from
• Wanting to genuinely help others and solve their problems
• The practice of forgiveness and letting go of stale 'issues'
• Unconditional gratitude
• Considering your new path of adventure.

When I talk about leverage, I am talking about delegation, and help. Whilst some people feel they are the only ones that can get something done right, the simple fact is that there are only twenty four hours in a day, and working on the principle of doing it all yourself, wil severely limit your ability to grow, and enhance your wealth. If you work as a sole employee, this will be the biggest obstacle to further wealth, as no matter how good you are, you will always be better by delegating the repetitive, and time consuming tasks to others so you can concentrate on building your business, rather than working in it. This is one of the biggest issues with small business owners and operators.

The next point is so obvious, nearly all of us miss it. "Do what you love", I always say. Ask yourself if you are motivated in the morning. It is absolutely worth taking a few hours to sit down, and really ask yourself about your desires, your goals, and working out what really maters to you? So many people spend their working days doing work they absolutely hate, it is almost a national epidemic. Get driven, and decide what you really like. I am not saying quit your job, and go live on a mountain. Plan it properly, and do what matters. Are you passionate about something? Do you have a special interest? Do you have a cause, or something you would really like to do for others? This is the key.

If you are able to actually help others with solutions to real problems, you will be so in demand, you will not know what to do with yourself, and be way above the rest. I have proven this and seen it time and again. In other words, instead of thinking about the money, simply be of ongoing service to others, helping them, and the money will flow, as a by-product. I know it may take an almost inhuman faith to believe this, but practice, through action, will undoubtedly prove this. It has been proven by many others, and a little action, and give first, will see great results form for you.

Now, I know I am going to either be understood or completely ignored on this point. However, countless books have been written, with enough evidence presented, and on top of all I have read, with my own life experience, I can assure you that forgiveness is an important part of wealth generation. You will need to be brutally honest with yourself, but if you have any hatreds, or unresolved issues in your life, they will be affecting your ability to be your best, and to give your best. In turn, you will not be performing at nearly the capacity you can, to increase your wealth. It is not impossible, but it is one block you do not need, now or ever.

Hence, if you have any past hurts, or grievances with any one, do your level best to forgive them, in your heart. You do not have to say anything to them. Just genuinely tell yourself that you are forgiving them, and letting any past hurts go. I know this is not always easy, particularly as you may be feeling hard done by, but this is really a massive cleansing step for your mind. It will be like letting out the garbage, and opening your mind to receive so much more. If this is a new concept to you, you have everything to gain, and nothing to lose by genuinely giving this method a go. It works.

My second last point is to be very grateful for all you have. So often, we poison our minds with worry, or wondering about the what-ifs, and so on. Take the time to look at all you have. It may be your health. It may be your spouse. It may be that you have a family, no matter what state it is in, and so on. If you put your mind to it, you will find something that you can be grateful for. This is another one of those proven points that do work. You do, however, have to practice it, to see for yourself. I realise you may be a little skeptical at first, but let's face it. You have nothing to lose here, and so much to gain.

Everything I am mentioning here, I practice myself. It is not always easy, but the results are worth the effort. You just need to persist, and be genuine, The rest will follow through.

My closing point is that your past need not impede your future. You may well continue in your current line of work, and general direction, and succeed very well. However, there is nothing to say you can't move in a whole new direction as well. I am not suggesting just pick something for the sake of it. However, if you are really passionate about something, but have not had the courage, or were just apprehensive, set your mind to start today. Even a small, tentative start is a start. I am not suggesting you will change the world in one day. However, a start is an important position to be at, and just move one foot forward. You will very glad you did.

There are methods of thinking to substantially help you focus, and reach the financial success, you would like to see. It is about the way that you think, and train your mind to solve problems, and face challenges.

Your thinking methods will make all the difference. It is about your mind, and what you can achieve with it.
