The recent events of Japan's earthquake are devastating and an opportune time for us to reflect and really think about our aims, as well as our immediate safety. In the first instance, I am referring to our immediate safety, and the requirement to look after ourselves in relation to radiation exposure.

Firstly, ensure that you can protect yourself from excessive radiation of the thyroid gland by ensuring that you are adequately covered with Pottasium Iodide. It is available from most chemists and pharmacies or drug stores. It is designed to help you protect yourself from problems with the effects of radiation that is blown by rain and wind over land and sea, to other parts of the world.

To learn more about this, see the Survive Anything Guide Book.

Cause of Boredom: Lack of Progress and Challenge

All your success in life is about your mindset. You can Become Much More by Growing More.

Cause of Boredom: Lack of Progress and Challenge
By Juancho Gaerlan

When you take up a new sport, the excitement often gives you more energy than is needed to tackle it. But as your body gets used to its regimen, you're bound to get fed up with it and feel bored. What happened? What was the cause of boredom?

The same thing happens with other life endeavors. You get excited with your new work, for instance, but after months or a few years, you get tired of the routine and feel bored. Why? It's often more than the low pay or the difficult boss. The cause of boredom often stems from the lack of progress and challenge.

Many today suffer broken marriages that result to broken homes and broken individual lives. Marriage experts often blame other factors that give way to rotten marriages. Few see boredom as the culprit. When there's a lack of progress and challenge in anything one does, a negative slide down often becomes inevitable. It's like the Law of Marginal Utility or the Law of Diminishing Returns.

The diminishing returns law says that after reaching a peak there's no other way to go but down. Well, the good news is, it's a law that could be broken. And the key is to get rid of the cause of boredom. To do this, any activity should be progressive. It should be done in levels, each one higher than the former. Then each higher level introduces a new aspect (and challenge) of the same activity. No more lack of progress and challenge.

When doing a sport, there should be several levels of advancement. Thus, instead of just playing plain badminton to work out a sweat, try doing it with gradual skill advancement. When you're so good (and so fed up) at playing against a single player, why not tackle two players? And then three. And then four. And why not use two badminton balls? Imagine running after two balls in the same game! That is challenge! Then make it three balls.

When you're burned out from doing the same job everyday at the office, why not do a new one by helping out a co-worker during your spare time? Or figure out ways of doing the same job in a different, more efficient way. Think out how the work can be taken to the next level. Formulate effective shortcuts. This would surely demolish the cause of boredom. Remember: wherever there is a lack of progress and challenge, boredom sets in. Routine spoils everything in the long run. But variety, more so with progressive levels of fulfillment and daring, is the spice of life. Routine becomes a new thing daily with progression and challenge.

Most marriages fail due to lack of imagination. There's really more to married life than just reading the newspaper at the breakfast table while the wife talks to herself. Among the reasons why people become unfaithful to their spouses is the excitement of adventure–the pleasure derived from doing something new and dangerous or prohibited. The good news is, you can do exactly that with your spouse. Do "illicit" sex with your spouse in motels, under the cover of darkness.

But more than that, marriage should also be often brought to the next level. The first level is sensual, or physical attraction. The next higher level should be emotional and mental. This means you begin to take active and genuine interest in your spouse's dreams and aspirations in life, and make it your goal to realize it for your partner. The highest level is spiritual. Together with your spouse, understand and realize God's designs, first for each other, and then for your kids.

In conclusion, we should understand that God never intended us to be robots, glued and programmed daily to a life of routines and traditions. God's plan for us is anything but boring. God gives us freedom to explore millions of possibilities for enjoyment. He wants us to have dominion over all things today, boredom included.

Unlock Your Power in 30 Days- by John Peace

Some days ago, I was asked if I would be interested in reviewing a book in electronic format by John Peace- Unlock the Power in 30 Days Guide.

Unlocking Your Power in 30 Days

As is always the case, I made a point of reading the book with an open mind, and wanted to see how it was written, as well as establish that I could relate to the writer, and apply the material to my own life. In short, I am  very impressed, and certain that anyone choosing to make active changes in their lives will succeed with this book.

Whilst many people are guilty of buying books that they plan to read, (and put away on the shelf to gather dust), this book is very different, in a positive way. Once I opened the book, and started reading past the usual introductory pages, the style and short exercise format immediately grabbed my attention. I know you are probably as busy as I am, and time is short. Given the pace of life becoming more hectic for most of us, I really appreciated the point style of the writing, as well as exercises, which were broken up into short bursts, for the morning, during the day and also during the evening.

Now, before you think that this is one of those very complex books, please note that it is in fact a very detailed, yet easy to read book, that is clear, and presented in chunks that are easy to digest.

In fact, as per ideas in the book, I have found that from day two, I was feeling better about myself, as part of the first day's exercises included listing everything that we are grateful for.

The exercises are also written in such a way as to be build on each other. It's not just about isolated exercises, but rather, the building of a picture and a process.

This Law of Attraction Guide is a book that I recommend you carry with you, either on an e Reader device, or laptop, as it is the sort of book you can open to any day, after the initial 30 day period, and just take the exercises from there.

I fond the eReader option works best for me, as when I have a five minute break at work, or am traveling on public transport, I can easily recharge my internal thoughts and be ready for another session of work and play. Best of all, it is not like you need to read an entire chapter to get the full picture, and given our increasingly hectic lives, think this is an absolute bonus.

I genuinely feel that John Peace has presented an excellent work here. If I may say, the information is not new, if you are a regular student of personal development. However, it is certainly very well presented, and that alone, makes the book a winner in my view. Let's face it, if you can read it easily, and benefit from it, it has served its purpose. I genuinely feel this book will be read by its owners, as it is easy to digest and absorb the material.

I wish you all the very best with your endeavors, and look forward to hearing of your success.

Martin Cohn

HOW TO TURN NOTHING INTO SOMETHING by JIM ROHN

Enjoy this one… It's a treasure….

———————————————————————————————
HOW TO TURN NOTHING INTO SOMETHING by JIM ROHN
———————————————————————————————

Have you ever wondered how to turn nothing into something?

First, in order to turn nothing into something, you've got to start
with some ideas and imagination.

Now, it might be hard to call ideas and imagination nothing; but
how tangible are those ideas?

That is a bit of a mystery. I don't believe that ideas that can be
turned into a hotel, ideas that can be turned into an enterprise,
ideas that can be turned into a new vaccine or ideas that can be
turned into some miracle product, should be called nothing. But
tangibly, you have nothing. Interesting! Think of it, ideas that
become so powerful in your mind and in your consciousness that they
seem real to you even before they become tangible. Imagination that
is so strong, you can actually see it.

When I built my first home for my family in Idaho all those years
ago, before I started construction, I would take my friends and
associates out to the vacant property and give them a tour of the
house. Is that possible? Is it possible to take someone on a tour
through an imaginary house? And the answer is, "Yes, of course."
"Here is the 3 car garage," I used to say, and my friends would
look and say, "Yes, this garage will hold 3 cars." I could really
make it "live". I would take them on a tour throughout the house&
"Here is the fireplace, and look, this side is brick and the other
side is stone." I could make it so real& "Follow me through the
rest of the house. Take a look through the picture window here in
the kitchen, isn't the view great?" One day, I made the house so
real that one of my friends bumped his elbow on the fireplace. I
mean, it was that real.

So, the first step of turning nothing into something is to imagine
the possibilities. Imagine ALL of the possibilities. One of the
reasons for seminars, sermons, lyrics from songs and testimonials
of others is to give us an idea of the possibilities; to help us
imagine and to see the potential.

Now here is the second step for turning nothing into something, you
must BELIEVE that what you imagine IS possible for you.
Testimonials like, "If I can do it, you can do it" often become a
support to our belief. And we start believing. First we imagine
it's possible. Second, we start to believe that what's possible is
possible for us.

We might also believe because of our own testimonial. Here is what
your testimonial might say, "If I did it once, I can do it again.
If it happened for me before, it could very well happen again." So
we believe not only the testimonials of others who say, "If I can
do it, you can do it. If I can change, you can change. If I can
start with nothing, you can start with nothing. If I can turn it
all around, you can turn it all around." Then we also have the
support of our own testimonial, if we've accomplished something
before. "If we did it once, we can do it again. If we did it last
year, we can do it this year."

So those two things together are very powerful. Now, we do not have
actual substance yet, although it is very close.

Again, step one is to imagine the possibilities. Step two is to
imagine that what is possible is possible for you. Here is what we
call step two – faith to believe. In fact, one writer said this,
"Faith is substance." An interesting word: "substance", the
powerful ability to believe in the possibilities that are possible
for you. If you have faith to believe& that faith is substance,
substance meaning "a piece of the real." Now it's not "the real",
it's not this podium, but it is so powerful that it is very close
to being real and so the writer said, "The faith is a piece of, the
substance of". He then goes on to call it evidence, substance and
evidence. It is difficult to call substance and evidence "nothing".
It is nothing in the sense that it cannot be seen except with the
inner eye. You can't get a hold of it because it isn't YET
tangible. But it is possible to turn nothing, especially ideas and
imaginations, into something if you believe that it is now possible
for you. That substance and evidence becomes so powerful that it
can now be turned into reality.

So the first step is to imagine what is possible, the second is to
have the faith to believe that what is possible is possible for
you. And now the third step is to that you go to work to make it
real. You go to work to make it a hotel. You go to work to make it
an enterprise. You go to work and make it good health. You go to
work and make it an association. You go to work and make it a good
marriage. You go to work and make it a movement; you make it
tangible. You make it viable. You breathe life into it and then you
construct it. That is such a unique and powerful ability for all of
us human beings. Put this to work and start the miracle process
today!

To Your Success,
Jim Rohn

What's the best gift anyone has ever given you?

Really think about that question – A good friend of mine
asked me that same question last week. It seemed like a
pretty normal question, but for some reason I decided
to really think about it.

The best gifts I've ever gotten will never be found at a
department store, the mall or in my driveway. The best gifts
are things I can't touch or even see – but they are gifts that
are still with me and I will never forget.

Here's part of the list I came up with – time, honesty,
seeing my potential, lessons, and materials that have
brought me closer and closer to my dreams.

Don't give "stuff" as a gift this year – that's a real rip off.
Give the ones you love a gift that will still mean something in
4 months, 4 years or 40 years –
Because the best kinds of gifts always do.

In the spirit of Cyber Monday, the biggest online shopping day
of the year, life-changing materials are available to you.
Because we both know first hand that there is no greater gift
than the gift of freedom, awareness, and getting closer to your dreams.

Give the ones you love a gift that they will never forget.

On Cyber Monday, November 29th, Bob Proctor is going to host one
of the biggest sales of the best materials anyone has ever seen.

* Starting at 9am Eastern.
* There will be a new deal posted every hour on the hour.
* With 50-90% discounted prices.

Click on the link below to hear what Bob has to say about it and
get more details so you don't miss out on this amazing opportunity.

Give the ones you love a gift that they will never forget.

Happy Holidays,

Martin Cohn

PS – Or you could always give YOURSELF a gift you will never forget –
you deserve it.
