Fear is a killer of dreams and life, when taken to extremes.

Let me expand a little more on the issue of fear, and what it is, and better still, what can be done to overcome it.

Essentially, I see fear as a robber of dreams, and life. I know that may seem extreme, but think about it.

Fear can range from a mild aggravation to a full blown state of life changing circumstances, where a person is scared to leave the house. I wish it was not so serious for some people, but it can be quite bad, or worse.

Naturally, if you really have serious issues, it may pay to also seek professional help, but I am concentrating on the cases where it is not quite so bad, and will reflect on some of my experiences at this stage.

I have certainly had times when I felt almost numb or paralyzed by fear, and that is not a good thing. However, having been very shy, and generally on the timid side as an adolescent, I certainly had my concerns.

I have also experienced situations in my life when I was absolutely terrified, and that was when things changed for me.

I realized that if things were to change for the better, they would be up to me. In fact, in just about (if not every) case, it is always up to us. I know it is easy to blame others, but that is nothing less than a cop out. Sorry of that is blunt, but it is true.

We need to be honest with ourselves, if we are to se the results that we want.

This is where the issue of the right attitude comes into place. I really want to state clearly that having the right attitude can and does put your body into a terrible vibration, and causes a massive reduction in your ability to think clearly, logically, and openly. It is a preamble to anxiety and a state of constant stress. It is an emotional state caused by doubt. This is where I encourage you to quiet yourself, and take some reflective time.

I know it is easy to say, but with practice, you will be amazed at the results of quieting the mind.

It is a time of reflective introspection, and I really enjoy the time I spend in quiet meditation, to help myself centre, and reduce my stress. I also find I am better prepared this way, to sleep well, and come up with solutions to problems as I sleep.

I welcome you to try it and see for yourself.

I have also listened to audios by Bob Proctor that have helped me to relax better and see answers to my problems, and reduce my stress, and increase my prosperity.

Eliminating the 7 Negative Emotions that Destroy our Prosperity

I wanted to highlight a very important point today, and that is the 7 emotions that being negative, we need to learn to control, and better still, reduce from our life. Whilst it may seem quite hard at first, it actually becomes easier with time and practice, and is an important consideration to set in motion, for your day.

As you will probably notice, I have been working on creating a piece of useful content, on a daily basis, to help make your day and life more positive, fruitful, and enjoyable. After all, to succeed in life, we need to be as free as possible from vices that take from our joy and good intent.

These emotions are:

  • Fear
  • Jealousy
  • Hatred
  • Revenge
  • Greed
  • Superstition
  • Anger

Now looking at yourself, can you see any of these emotions?  It's OK to be honest. In fact, it's essential, as only when we see everything for what it is, we can then really see that we have work to do.

Can we periodically see these results ourselves, or experience these emotions from time to time? Of course. However, the clincher here is that we understand these emotions, and more importantly, what to do to immediately reverse these emotions, and place ourselves on the right track. After all, we are human, and mistakes and emotions will happen.

However, being able to recognise these emotions means we are better placed to control ourlselves, and remove the offending emotion! I certainly have had times when I was very fearful, and it was through a determined effort to reflect and consider that I realised fear is a wasted emotion, It does not help us at all. All it does is create a hollow feeling, and take from our energy in a destructive way.

Jealousy, as another example, is imagining we can not achieve whet others have done, or more. The fact is we are powerful beings, with massive ability. We just need to learn to focus that energy, in constructive ways.

All this an more is the best way to move forward.

I look forward to expanding on these traits tomorrow.

I recommend you take the time to read from the selection of books below, or look at the course on Success in Six Minutes.  I regularly read and take the advice from the above course. It has helped me reach goals I though initially too difficult to achieve.

The fact is we can achieve anything we want. We do not even need to know the exact way to get there, except that we wish to start.

Think of this like a road to a new city you have not been to before. You know to follow the signs and your map. You work the rest ut as you go.

Life is very similar…

When the Going Gets Tough. The Tough Get Going

08/27/2010 10:37:00 PM

I know that you have probably already heard this on more than one occasion, but really, it does make a big difference, and I wanted to make sure that I reminded you about it. It is so important to never allow ourselves to be over awed t the point where we make rash and stupid decisions.

I certainly know about sometimes being faced with an adverse situation, and thinking that's it. Fortunately, I have found, that in my case, at any rate, a walk in the open, fresh air, lets me think more clearly, and reflect on different perspectives. I know it may seem over rated, and old hat, but really, take the time to think carefully about things, and see if you can figure out alternative solutions. It is so easy to get caught, or stuck in a rut of thinking, where we simply can not see the forest for the tress.

I have taken the time to affirm my ability to solve all, and be inspired to come to conclusions that are based on clear thought.

Essentially, what I'm trying to say is that even though some situations may seem hopeless at times, they are often not too bad, when we reflect on a more global scale. Putting it another way, by taking the time to apply affirmation in our lives, we can more easily see the benefits in so many thinsg as well.

This is where I am coming from, and where I'd like to help you get too.

I had a situation arise recently where I felt really concerned, almost cornered. No one can think clearly in that mind frame. Hence, I took the opportunity to share the problem with someone, and then was able to relax more, and ended up coming up with a solution to help resolve the issue.  This is where it all comes down to…

Allow yourself the space to really have faith, and know that you have all you need to get through anything. Just have belief in yourself, and a higher power. There really is something to it all…

Understanding and Conquering Fear – A Stepped Approach

07/11/2010 9:21:00 PM

All of us experience fear from time to time, across a range of different situations in our lives. However, we need to actually start off by taking the time to really sit down, and analyse what we are fearful or scared of.

I say this, because it is not always what we think at first, but rather what we are scared will happen as a result of doing what we think we are scared of.

Yes, this is a mouthful, but understand, I know what I am talking about, as I have overcome numerous fears in my life, and can wholeheartedly understand the symptoms of fear in different people.

Let me give you an example.

Whilst this may seem really funny for many people, for others who fall into the category of being shy, you will no doubt appreciate the full feelings of terror and fear when asking someone of the opposite sex out, particularly, if you are a teenager, or young adult.

Have you ever wondered what the real fear is? I can tell you that it is the fear of rejection. No one likes being rejected, but I fully understand that it is a terrifying experience if you are young and shy.

Anyway, to expand on this further, imagine pacing in front of the phone for an hour or two, then picking it up, starting to dial, and immediately putting it down again. You may even justify your actions by saying to yourself that you can't call now, as you may interrupt dinner, or perhaps, now they are watching their favourite TV soap program, and so on. Essentially, this may go on for several days, and then, you may compound this by writing your questions down, so you do not forget your lines. I know this sounds really ridiculous, but I also know that these are fears that people can go through, because I have been there as a teenager.

However, the good news with fear, is that to get over it, you simply have to do what you are scared of doing.

There are ways around this, and of approaching your fears, in a logical and stepped way, so that you are more likely to not only do what you are scared of, but more importantly, actually get over your handicap. I specifically call fear a handicap, as it can with hold you from enjoying life to the fullest, and that is a shame.

You need to analyse your fears, and genuinely ask yourself what consequences you are scared of. Only then, will you be more likely to get over your fear, by applying a rational worst-case outcome, and then planning on how to deal with it. This is one of only a series of options available to you.

In addition, you may even find that your achievements and potential are seriously limited by not getting out in the world and doing what you on one hand know you can do, but are scared to approach, for fear of failure. You need to ask yourself what is the worst thing that can happen to you if you fail at what you want to do. I addition, many people who have succeeded in life, had many failures on their way to their respective successes.

To learn more about conquering your fear and living the life of your dreams.

In addition, it is als beneficial to understand and control our emotions as well as work on our self confidence development.

What is Man’s Unlimited Power? Is There a Clear Explanation For This, and How Can We Apply It?

07/4/2010 6:03:00 PM

Listen to this Post. Powered by iSpeech.org

Many of you will probably have read about, or heard it mentioned that we have unlimited power within us, but may not have had any more explained to clarify the meaning of human power. Whilst this topic can be extrapolated into a very complex discussion, I would like to simply summarise the point that we, as human beings, have many more powers than most of us at first recognise. I am not talking about something mythical, like being able to fly unaided, but rather, in terms of our mind and mental abilities.

Whilst I recognise that for some of you, this will be obvious, I know that for many others, this will be new. The fact is that the mind is capable of incredible feats, and accomplishments. It is however, up to us, to make the effort to develop the skills to use these facilities that we all have. Equally important, is the requirement to learn to use our intuition, which some refer to as the sixth sense, as that combined with our mind power is very powerful and valuable.

One way to explain this point is to use the example of a couple, living in the middle of no where, without electricity. Now, imagine that they are transported into the current, modern world, and are given a set of very low wattage light bulbs, and the surprise and awe when they flick the light switch on an and off.

Naturally, if they had never seen light by electricity before, they would be very impressed with the light they could now see. However, Imagine then, that after some time, they were given a high wattage lamp, and shown the difference in light, almost like comparing a 25 Watt light to a 100 Watt lamp. Again, needless to say, they would be even more impressed than before. Now, my point comes, in that the power, by the electricity that was available, was always there. The only difference is that the lamps were improved, to be able to 'show off' the brighter light. However, the electricity supply was always there.

Translating the above, slightly outlandish story to yourself as a human, you already have all the potential power and energy running through you. It is simply a case of setting up your self to accurately reflect outwards, in all your glory, your power and energy, and potential that is already in you. I know it is a round about way to make the point, but I'm sure you see clearly where this is already going.

You already have all the potential, and magnificence in you, and it is the programming of your brain that will be the difference in you expressing your brilliance and glory, outwards. Remember that you are the sum of your thoughts, and often, that will be the sole difference between a true success, and someone who is under performing.

There are methods of thinking to substantially help you focus, and reach the financial success, you would like to see. It is about the way that you think, and train your mind to solve problems, and face challenges.

In addition, I highly recommend the self confidence material on ensuring you are presenting your best side all the time.
