I Have Always Heard Negativity About Manifestation – How Can I Change My Thinking? By Marty A Cohn Platinum Quality Author

I think it takes a courageous and determined person to admit that they may have had a negative upbringing, in relation to manifestation and prosperity. However, for what it is worth, many people have experienced this, though the comments and sayings of their parents. I am also quite aware that most people do the best they can, and are not deliberately attempting to reduce their children's chances of manifesting great wealth. However, some people have heard through their childhood, sayings like

  • Money does not grow on trees,
  • We need to work hard for everything we get or have,
  • Life was not meant to be easy
  • We come from a working class family
  • We may not be rich but we are honest,
  • It is not normal for kids to do better than their parents and so on and on.

Now, as I have said earlier, whilst some of these comments are wrong for me, I am aware that many people use them, simply believing them to be true. I would like to point out at this point, that everyone is entitled to their opinion but as far as I am concerned, wealth is a right and not reserved for a select few only. We do however, need to train ourselves to accept it, if we are currently in a belief cycle where wealth is perceived to be bad, or dishonest. Are there some dishonest wealthy people? Certainly. However, there are many very honest and decent people with great wealth as well. It is absolutely OK to be wealthy, prosperous and abundant.

Thinking of it another way, you can be far more helpful to others when you are wealthy yourself. If you have barely two cents to rub together, you will probably not be in a great position to donate to charity to help others and so on. However, when you are wealthy, it is a lot easier to help others. Now I do say the above with a few caveats if I may. I believe in being generous first, as well as helping others when ever possible, as the universe tends to reward those who help themselves and others. It's also about often giving first to receive in return, However, the return is often many times over the original gift. I have found that as long as I give with an open heart, I tend to feel much better, help others, and gain at some point in the future as well. However, the secret is to give with no expectation, and genuinely because you wish to. The less attachment, and greater generosity or open heart you attach to your gift, the better.

I have also found that practicing a state of gratitude is very important to helping abundance flow through my life. The same principles will apply to you, as these are effectively, universal laws. What do I mean by practicing gratitude? Well, we need to make a specific point of being thankful for everything we have, no matter how seemingly little it may be. Allow me to give you an example.

I read of a man, whose work I admire who at one stage, only had a pencil, eraser on the end of it, and the clothes on his back. He was however, also in possession of a great mind, and he knew that with that pencil, and erase, he could wrote an award winning novel, a letter of love, or create a product that could be sold, and so on. He equally could write a suicide note. A serious point here is being made, and IO hope you take it on board. We always have choices, no matter ho bad things may seem, and I am hoping to encourage you to take the long term view, and use all you have to your advantage. Be thankful for all you have, no matter if you think it is little. I have found that gratitude helps to bring more to your life, in terms of other assets, as well as a state of mind that is conducive to better ideas, and happiness. It all takes work, but it pays off handsomely.

You are a special person, as we all are, and capable of much. Do not allow innocent comments and phrases to shape your life. You are entitled to all the universe has to offer. You can be very wealthy and happy, as well as decent at the same time. Notice I have used the word 'and' and not the word 'or'.

There are secrets of thinking to substantially master your desires. It is about the way that you think, and train your mind to solve problems, and face challenges. You can, when you think you can.

How Can I Stay On Course When Everything Seems So Complicated?

I think that to best answer the above question, we must first understand what is happening, and in turn, then apply a simplification process to our work day. In other words, for many people who would be asking this question in the first place, it is important to define the problem to better understand the solution. When things are complicated, it usually means that there is a lack of organisation. I know this is a generalisation, but I feel that I can make this assumption in most cases. Please understand that I am writing this article based on my personal experience and thus, am recommending the solutions that have and continue to work for me.

I used to be extremely organized, and then went through a period where I simply let things go, in a sense that I became overwhelmed with a list of tasks that was longer than anyone could reasonably, or even unreasonably manage in any twenty four hour day. The lists were so long at times, that my large desk diary needed to have extra sheets inserted just to fill in the day's tasks. Needless to say, this caused great stress. This was a result of feeling like an underachiever, and also from a clear case of over expectation for a task's time frame.

To put it another way, it's like most people overestimating what can be done in a short while, and under estimating their life's goals and abilities. Hence, we need to look at every task and item on our day's 'to do' list. When we better plan, we immediately eliminate the issues of under achievement due to better time allocation. We also need to know how to say 'no' when it is too much, or over crowding our day. Please do not confuse this with the issue of simply never stretching yourself, however. It is about a gradual increase of tasks and delegation of duties when required. For me personally, the issue of delegation took a longer time to master, but I can assure you, when you are able to follow this concept and apply it in practice, you will notice a massive increase in your output. Also, you need to divide your day into 'busy' time and 'income' time. You can probably tell I am referring to this from a business point of view. There are many people who spend hours on administration tasks that are taking their time, but not earning them any income. It is important to do them, but more important to do the income producing jobs first, and then either employing someone, or delegating the more mundane tasks that are not helping you reach your full potential.

This is a start to ensuring your success improves, in as much as you need to plan realistic goals into your diary to maximize your output, and satisfaction with your results.

Get Ready For Your Prosperity- Release the Past and Move Forward to the new…

I think we need to regularly remind ourselves to get ready for our prosperity. Let me expand on this a little, if I may.

It is very important to ensure that we are always ready for the best to happen to us, as often, it is the state of preparedness that helps us reach new levels of success. Can this really be true? Yes, It is, and it is proven in many books like the famous book by Napoleon Hill, Think and Grow Rich.

When it comes to prosperity, it is very important to ensure that we cast away the past. That does not mean that you should forget all the good you have learned from the past, but at the same time, you need to be able to ensure that you are ready to open your self, and circumstances to accepting your good. I say this specifically, as many people have accidentally held onto their past in such great strength, that they have closed themselves to the new good that awaits them.

I know this can seem complex at first, but let me assure you that your good is all about your ability to be what I call, "a little fluid". This is important as it is a way to allow yourself to move with circumstances. All circumstances change, and we need to ensure that we can change with them, as when we are rigid, we repel our good. By being open to adapting through situations or change, we are better able to ensure that we will be ready to move into our prosperity. I will be writing on this very important topic over a number of weeks, as I want to help you reach a point of understanding where you can adapt this to your best benefit. I am also using the teachings of Bob Proctor from his Six minute success program as well, and using the two, together.

Putting this another way, those who are unable to accept a greater abundance in their mind, will have great difficulty in forming it in their lives. In other words, you need to believe, and know, before you have it materialise in your life. It is the foundation of faith, to see and conceive in your mind, what others may be unable to believe. However, when you look at any great victory over time, it is the result of careful planning before hand, to reach those goals that caused the result to materialise.

Move Towards Your Desire

09/13/2010 6:42:00 PM

Desire is about a passion, and being at a point when you can 'smell' your desire in your bones, feel it, know it.

I need to express in the clearest possible terms, as only when you believe, to the point that you know, then you are at the place where you know you will feel and be rewarded with your desires.

Does that mean I don't have to work for what I want?

Of course this is not the case. You still need to work for all your desires, but the difference is that you can put yourself in a state of faith where you know you need not strain, but that steady, devoted causes will bring you your desires. It is not always by an explainable set of forces, other than the ether of the universe, and the power of the life source, that you will attract to you.

A better way of explaining this point is to consider that if you are interested in buying a new car, or I should say, receiving a new car by the abundance of the universe, you need to show a receptive state for the vehicle.

An example towards this might be to actually buy a new key ring, and be ready for the new set of keys for the new car.

Another example might be the purchase of a new wallet or purse, in expectation of the receipt of new funds.

It is only the point that I wish to convey here- that you need to mentally prepare yourself, by the physical behaviour of your actions or beliefs, to the point of knowing you are in posession of your new good.

Always be speaking positive statements of plenty and abundance.

It's also about getting your house in order, if you expect a new house, or better house. An example would be that of your house was for sale, you would want it to be neat and tidy all the time. The same applies here.

Put your accounts and records in order. It will help attract more to you.

It is one of those natural laws of the universe.

How to Use the Law of Attraction Successfully

06/3/2010 10:52:00 PM

By Valerie Dawson, Founder of The Dawson Method

You may believe that using the Law of Attraction "successfully" means being able to instantly manifest everything you desire, but I'm going to offer a different definition today. What if using the Law of Attraction successfully could mean finding a way to make every situation turn out in a positive, or at least acceptable, way?

Below are three ways to begin doing this in your own life:

See Success in a New Light

We have become so accustomed to seeing money as a success symbol that we forget there are other expressions of success – some of which are even more valuable than cash. There is nothing wrong with having a lot of money and other material possessions, but they are certainly not the only expressions of abundance and success.

Experience may seem less important than money at first glance, but along with experience comes knowledge and self-mastery – which greatly enhances our earning potential in any field. Being patient enough to learn and gain experience so we can enjoy the fruits of our labor later is one of the best investments we can make into our future.

Recognize Opportunities in Every Situation

We often get frustrated when we keep repeating the same destructive patterns and getting the same dissatisfying results, but opportunities do exist in every difficult circumstance. Rather than trying to escape negative situations, we would do better to ponder how we might turn them into something beneficial.

By focusing on the possibilities rather than the frustration, our creative juices start flowing and inspired ideas come rushing forth. Taking action on these inspired ideas will trigger still more opportunities, and before we know it our difficult circumstances will have been transformed into truly life-changing experiences.

Act . . . Rather Than Over-Analyzing

Over-analyzing goals and plans is a common destructive habit that many of us share. We plan, we prepare, plan some more…and never quite get around to taking action. Most often when this happens it's because we are trying to avoid the possibility of failure. It feels safer to wait until we have every step of the plan tweaked and adjusted "just right" before we move forward.

Unfortunately the longer we wait to get moving, the harder it gets to take any action at all. One of the most empowering habits we can adopt is a consistent willingness to move forward even if we don't yet have the entire plan figured out. Adjusting a plan that is already in motion is much easier than trying to create a "perfect" plan on paper.
