How Can I Pray to Get the Best Results?

For some of you, if you pray regularly with great results, this may seem an odd question to ask, but many others want a basic guidance to getting the best out of their prayers.

This is actually a very reasonable question to ask, as prayers, like anything else, may as well be 'done' in the best way possible to get the results you desire.

I have collated a series of seven points below, to help you get the best results from your prayers, and know they work, as I practice these same methods as well, with excellent results.

1. To begin with, set aside some time each day, even if it is only ten minutes. As long as the time is sincere time, where you can devote your full attention, you will see positive results.
2. Pray in simple, everyday language, that you normally use. Put another way, be natural, and be yourself. This will be easier for you, and carry more meaning to you.
3. When ever you have a quick minute to spare, use it for what I call the minute prayer. This way, you will also feel a greater presence of your higher power around you.
4. It's a good idea to not always be asking for things, but rather, be grateful for that which you have. Also, by assuming that you already have what you want, and being thankful for it gives you and your prayer greater power.
5. Never criticise anyone else, or anything. Always pray in the positive. Your subconscious mind and life source work in the positive arena.
6. Always know that your positive prayers can affect not only you,but also your loved ones.
7. It is very important to realise that your prayers may be answered in ways that are better than you imagined., Be receptive to this, rather than rigid in your expectations.

Please understand that my intention here is not to specifically say there is a right or wrong way to pray, but rather, my point is that there are attitudes, and ideas that have proven themselves to be more effective.

One of the important ones I think are to never look at anything in a bad light, as our prayers are only regarded in the positive to ourselves and others. By wishing negative, we usually inflict the worst on ourselves.

Hence, it is always worth spending some quiet time on reflection, and both being thankful for waht we already have, as well as asking for encouragement and advice.

You will be amazed at the ideas that come back to you as well.

To learn more about success & prayer, I can recommend various books from the Self Help Data base, as well as the course on positivity and attraction that I work with daily.

I have never looked back, and know that I owe my success to these techniques. They will work for you too.

How Can We Improve Our Day’s Productivity, and Better Succeed, With Prayer?

For most people, it is understood that having a positive attitude, is better than allowing a negative attitude to fester, and cause heartache, pain, and dissatisfaction in our lives.

However, what if you are the kind of person to regularly be down in the dumps, easily distracted, and of a mind that everything will go wrong for you, and those around you?

Whilst there are no miracle cures overnight for everything, it has been proven, by too many people claiming success, to be a fallacy, that prayer power works. How does prayer power work?

To explain better, I have found from my experience, and those I have read about, that it is always good to start with the gratefulness part- that being that we should thank our life source for all that is good that we have. This may seem obvious to some, and unnecessary to others, but again, with countless success stories to prove it, being thankful and grateful is a catalyst to ensuring more comes to us. How does this work?

One view is that the power of the mind work to allow us to manifest in our lives, all that we are grateful for, even if we do not actually have the things we want first. Let me explain with an example.

I had learned of this technique to be thankful for things, as if I already had them, so decided to try it with an object- a car. I regularly pictured in my mind a car that I liked, and actually spent the time imagining, and feeling the car, with emotion. I could smell the interior, the feel of the ride, the quiet of the engine, and so on. I became emotionally involved with this car, in my mind, and genuinely thanked the life source for providing this car for me. Even though I did not yet own this car, I imagined, and believed I owned it, and shortly after, in this case, six months, a better car was offered to me, at a price that I could afford.

I have followed this idea many times over, in my life, with different things, and always work on the idea that I need to believe first, and attach an emotion to my belief, and prayer, and thank in advance for what I am to receive. The concept here is two fold…

Firstly, we always have our needs met, and the world is an abundant place. However, if we close our minds to this possibility, we are less likely to participate in it.

Secondly, we need to emotionally imagine we have our desires met, and this magnetises the likely hood that we will attract circumstances into our lives to 'get as we desire'.

Desire is a strong emotion, and working with it, helps our prayers to be answered.

To learn more about success & prayer, I can recommend various books from the Self Help Data base, as well as the course on positivity and attraction that I work with daily.

I have never looked back, and know that I owe my success to these techniques, taught in this course and books.

How Can I Clear My Fear in Tough Times?

05/9/2010 5:58:00 PM

I am aware that for many people, economic difficulties have arisen and in some cases, have paralysed people into a state of not taking any action to remedy their situation. The scenario could be something like this:

You had been managing OK and were paying your bills, possibly saving a little, or maybe not. However, you were floating, and not immediately sinking. Then, for various reasons, your income reduced, either through unemployment, or for any other reason, and you ended up in a position where things were anything but rosy. Naturally, at this point, you had several options. They might include

  • panicking, and freezing up, where nothing is done, due to overwhelming fear
  • acknowledging there is a problem, and it needs to be tackled
  • requesting the assistance of friends, and family
  • Being so bloody minded as to face your fear head on, and push through
  • or any combination of the above options, to name a few.

I am going to concentrate on a combination of the options above, including having the determination to face the problem head on, and push through, which in its own right, includes the acknowledgement there is a problem. Too often, people find they do not want to face their fears, as they are worried they might fail, or even, believe it or not, that they might be too successful. At first, this does not make sense, but in surveys conducted over the years, as well as general observance of people, and reading, I have noticed that some people are not sure they can handle success, not because of success in itself, but rather because the change to their comfort zone would be too great, even if it was for the better.

I know how strange this may sound to some but deep down, many others in this boat will know it to be true, if they are honest enough with themselves. I am aiming this article at those of you who know there is a problem, and want to do something about it. It does not matter how much you feel you may fail. The only certain thing sis that if you do not act, and do something to improve your situation, not only will you stagnate, but probably get worse. Problems rarely go away, even if you stick your head in the sand. You need to plan ahead, and my favourite method is the good old note pad. I write everything down, and don't stop, until I have listed every problem that is worrying me.

Once I have listed the problems, I would recommend then listing possible solutions, and facing a really important point. I call it responsibility above the line. This means that no matter what caused the problem, or why it happened, it is better to face our responsibilities as they are, and say to ourselves, "I am responsible, and will do all I can, to make it better." The secret is to really do something. Even if you at first have another failure, it is a step towards getting to where you need to be, and is thus, very valuable. When you do no nothing, you do not advance. When you do something, even if it fails, you have made a valid attempt. The next step is to acknowledge tat no matter what has happened in the past, I must move forward, by accepting responsibility. This way, you will more than likely succeed.

When it comes to fear, the only way to overcome it is to do that which you fear. I know just how easy it is to say, and I know you may feel like you might rather experience death than the thing you fear. However, here's the first part of the secret- you will not die and feel very much better after you have done that which you fear. I can here your protests already. You may be thinking about the feelings of breathlessness, and the rapid blood pressure, and more. I know these feelings because I literally stopped breathing during one experience. I was told by my partner to remember to breath, and when I did so, I felt much better.

I have been strengthened by many of my accomplishments and know you will too. There are many more methods of thinking and ways to substantially control your fear. It is about the way that you think, and train your mind to solve problems, and face challenges.

Art of Living- Being The Best We Can be…

I feel very privillaged to have been able to benefit from reading this fine book by Norman Vincent Peal. The Art Of Living is a book written in a way that simply flows, and makes it easy to flow from page to page.

I think the best way I can describe it is like being uplifted, and seeing that something that seemed so difficult explained in a really simple and straight forward way. I genuinely believe that this is a talent that should be cherished, in that it is not easy to always convey ideas in the written word.

In my case, I am practicing daily, and I think, am getting better at it, but realize there is a still a way to go. However, my point today, being that I want to share a great book with you, as well as the point of it.

We all face problems, it is a part of daily living.  However, for many of us, we can easily become defeated by this, until we understand the importance of problems in our lives.

Problems in Our Lives

You might well be asking if I have lost my mind. I can assure you that I am very lucid, and equally, sincere in that problems make us better people, and can also help us become wealthier.

What and how, I might hear you ask.

Look at it this way.

When we are faced with a problem, ( I prefer to call it a challenge), we are -laced in a position where we must solve it. If we did not have any probnlems, you might think that it would be a simple life, but actually, you would stagnate, and become less effective and happy.

Problem solving is what makes the world go round, and us better peopkle.

Look at the simple example, as one idea, of books.

By having books, and reading them, we are able to answer questions we had (problems), and find solutions.

Has it ever occurred to you that the wealthiest people on earth are problem solvers.

They are CEO,s managers, and the like.

Equally, in your own life, you can create a solution to people’s problems, in the form of writing an eBook, available for distribution on the net, etc.

It is so much easier to self publish books online these days, as an example.

There really is so much that you can do to move ahead…

Just grab your ideas, and go with them.

It’s about actioon, and that will deliver the results from life you want.

To learn more about the art of living, head here.

Life is too short- make the most of it.

Prayers Give Us Hope and Send Out Positive Thought Energy to the Universe

12/30/2009 9:28:00 PM

Listen to this Post. Powered by iSpeech.org

Every object in the Universe vibrates constantly. How drastic is the vibration gives us the state of the object, whether in solid, liquid or gaseous. With this vibration, there is energy. Hence objects are made up of energy. and this energy is given out when the object vibrates. Since living things like us are also made up from specks of molecules and atoms, we are also vibrating constantly and giving out energy at the same time. The energy we give out is spreads out and into the Universe, usually within the terrestrial sphere.

These vibrations transmit and carry our thoughts, words and actions across the space. They influence our immediate surroundings. Which is why many spiritual teachers say that if we harbor negative thoughts about a person, that person could be influenced by our negative thoughts, and thus causing problems in life for him or her, at some stage of time in the future,

Which is this reason why we always advise people to think and spread positive thoughts so as to benefit the world to make it a more compassionate place. Through these positive thought emissions, we are indirectly helping to improve and nurture the world!

Furthermore, since the entire Universe is governed by the Law of Action and Reaction, meaning each action exerted will receive an equal amount of reaction in certain form, we are sooner or later affected by everything we think, say and do.

That is the reason why we people pray. Prayers give us hope and send out positive thought energy to the Universe, and we know that something good will return to us in life as what we have requested in the prayers. Prayers also suppress negative thoughts and attract positive energy that helps us to lead a peaceful and harmonious life with the surrounding.
