The Joy of Flying- and Enjoying Your Success
I myself, seriously enjoy flying, but understand that many others have a fear…
They think of all the worst things that may happen to them…
and so the list goes.
I would like to introduce a very successful program to those of you who have experienced a fear of flying, primarily because I am aware of the joys that flying has brought me, and know it can for you too.
Hence, I will not over lap this on and on…
Hence, I am actively telling my readers about this course by Captain Tom, who himself, has helped numerous people overcome their fear of flying.
There are several exercises recommended by Captain Tim of the SOAR program , which I am relaying over here, as per my experience, and recommend you follow through with as well.
The idea is to keep your mind occupied, and concentrating, so that you then, are not worrying, but distracted on concentrating on something else.
An initial exercise is the counting down exercise.
Concentrate on counting down from 5 , down to 1, in slow, determined steps, as well as noting any intersting objects in the aircraft.
This way, you will be better able to see you are kept occupied.
Do this first, every five minutes, and then after a5 minutes breaks, ollowed by half hourly, and also hourly.
In addition, it is a good idea to say to yourself, all the items you see.
I have also included a link on the picture above to the down loadable version of the course, if you are traveling very soon.
I personally thoroughly enjoy the feel of take off, and soaring above the earth, and know that everyone else can experience this joy, once they understand the safety mechanisms in aircraft, as well as the processes involved in maintenance, and servicing- all at the highest standrads, in addition to multiple backup systems and in many cases, backups to the backups…
