Understanding the Real Secret Behind Abundance

We are surrounded by abundance.

The issue we all need to undersatand is how to see it, and then attract it to our lives, as a fundamental part of our life.

There is no lack. Only in our minds.

We need to release our tension, take deeper breaths, and realise that we can increase our field of magnetism. By releasing the uptightness, we release our fear, as fear acts as a repulsion to our highest good.

Over the next several months, I am going to be writing very detailed posts to this blog, as I am determined to assist you to see, and understand the way that your can change your world.

The first step, however, is to ensure that you are picturing or visualising, in your mind, a clear image of your desired good.

Stop Begging! Start Manifesting

I have added this post below, to ensure that you are able to appreciate the incredible power of the Secret, but imagine it on steroids, with these further 11 laws explaining it in greater detail.

Do you remember that first spark of hope you felt when you watched The Secret? I clearly remember the desire that filled my heart, knowing that – Yes, I can make my dreams come true – FINALLY!

But how many of you soon saw that hope dwindle into frustration? How many of you (and be honest now) started muttering things like:

- “It seems to work for other people, but I just can’t get it right.”

- “I’m frustrated that sometimes I can get it to work, but sometimes I can’t. What’s the trick?”

- “Why am I having so much trouble?”

- “I think the universe is against me.”

- “I’m trying very, VERY hard but still nothing is happening!”

Don’t worry, you’re not alone. About 97% of people also couldn’t make the Law of Attraction work for them the first time round. Think about it, just like anything else, you have to practice many times before you see success. A child doesn’t learn to walk without falling over a couple of times, right?

But in practice, everything is easier said and done. When you’re frustrated, it’s hard to stay positive. And it’s especially harder to stay positive when the evidence all around you is screams negativity like the unstable economy or senseless acts of violence such as those recently seen in Mumbai.

And do you know what happens when you fail to stay positive? That’s right – you start attracting negative things in to your life.

So how can you make the Law of Attraction work for you – without getting frustrated? How do those who successfully implement the Law of Attraction do it with such confidence and finesse?

Well, here’s three quick tips so you will never feel frustrated or tired of begging from the universe, because you know how to start manifesting like a pro.

1. Allow Yourself To Receive

Just like a lost child who approaches a police officer and asks, “Excuse me Sir, can you tell me how to go to the post office? Can you? Can you? Can you? Can you? Can you?” Well, if the child goes on and on asking, the police officer can’t even give an answer, right?

Well, it’s the same thing with your mind. If the only thing your mind is doing is transmit, transmit, transmit, the universe — which is trying to respond — can’t give you a single thing because you’re not allowing yourself to receive!

So, have the confidence in yourself and stop exhausting yourself by running around person to person begging for riches, and then wondering why nobody is dropping a penny in your cup (Hint: It’s because you’re running away too fast for them before they can even reach for their wallets).

Just think of your desires and leave it out there, go away, and trust that your cup will be filled with gold coins (or whatever it is you asked for) when the time is right.

2. Be Patient With Yourself

Receiving takes time.

Sadly, many people give up just a couple of steps before the finish line because they’ve decided that if it’s not working by now, it’s never going to work at all. Worse still are those who throw in more and more energy because they think that with more resources, the results will come faster.

This is like expecting 9 mothers to conceive and deliver a baby in 1 month. You also can’t bake cookies in half the time by doubling the temperature. You’ll incinerate those cookies to ashes!

In simple terms: Everything in this world has a natural development time, and this fact will not change no matter what resources you throw at it.

So relax and be patient. Remember that you too, as part of the universe, are also governed by the laws of the universe, and you cannot change the natural development time.

If you remember this, you will less likely work yourself up into frustration, or worse, push yourself into a downward spiral of negativity.

3. Support and Educate Yourself

Like the child who is learning how to walk, you need support. You also need to guidance on how to do it, and also the role models to look up to.

Many people give up because they think that “The Secret” is the “be all and end all” solution. Well, it’s NOT. “The Secret” is just a small portion. It was never intended, and has never been, the whole answer.

Coming to the conclusion that the Law of Attraction doesn’t work when all you ever did to educate yourself was watch “The Secret” 19 times (without looking at changing the habits of other areas of your life) is like coming to the conclusion that exercising is not an effective way to lose weight because all you did is run on the treadmill for 2 hours a day (but you’re still stuffing yourself with fried foods and cheesecakes).

So seek and be hungry for new knowledge. Also, make an effort to be amongst people or communities where you can support each other, learn from each other and also share new knowledge that you have found.

While the Law of Attraction is not an overnight delivery service, it will indeed deliver, if you do your part too!

I think it is really important to always be making a very conscious effort to be living as consciously, and abundantly, and the best way I approach this, is to make sure I am reading uplifting material and betterment material as often as possible.

It took me a while to appreciate the reading of good books, but now, I am always with a book in my hand, at least once per day, even for a few minutes.

However, I can highly recommend the Six Minute Success Strategy System, as very effective towards this goal.

Here, I have also listed some important steps to ensuring you are always at your very best…

Important Daily Function Steps…

  • Save your Money.  I say this as your financial independence is a vital aspect of self empowerment. Have you noticed how much better you feel when you have a sum of money in the bank, and more invested, working for you.
  • It allows you to be free, in the sense that you can actually concentrate on other things, that by being done well, with your full heart and attention, mean you can in fact earn even more, and so on.
  • Know Where You’re Going. It is important to clearly define what you would love to do in your life. You do not need to limit your goals, based on your possible unknowing to get to the next level.
  • Simply go with it, and you will do wonders, by moving in the direction you wish to go.
  • Surround Yourself with special and inspirational people.  By so doing, yuou are more likely to be successful, as they are.  It is known in wealth and success circles that you are as abundant, and wealthy as your closes seven friends.
  • It is imperative that you regularly affirm all the every best for yourself.
  • By repeating your affirmations, and expecting all the very best to come to you, you will be more likely to  reach the levels you aspire to. I have also included a link here to the Self Help Store, where I have specifically found discounted books, but the value, and information they provide is above count, and guaranteed to positively impact your life. It is as simple as actually going the extra mile, and ensuring that you actually act on the information you read, and learn. In other words, actually get out there and do it.

You will be glad you did.

How Perfectionism Holds You Back From Success

Perfectionism is an insidious habit that cloaks itself in good intentions. After all, we all want to do the best we can at whatever we do, right? However, at the root of perfectionism is fear: fear that whatever you attempt will never be good enough or will never measure up to the (sometimes impossibly) high standards you set for yourself. At the heart is the fear that you will fail.

Perfectionism will cause you to put off your dreams and plans, sometimes forever. The perfectionist says, “I will begin when… all conditions are right… I have enough money… or enough knowledge… or enough confidence… ”

At other times, perfectionism will cause you to procrastinate so long that you have no choice but to do a mediocre job because, well, it wasn’t going to be good enough anyway. That way you have an excuse for your project turning out “below par,” just as you predicted. After all, you didn’t have enough time or resources, right?

Or perfectionism will keep you working on a project forever, ensuring that you never finish it. You will always find something that could be improved or tweaked. There will always be something not quite right about it that hinders you from presenting your work to the world. But you are safe from having it judged and of course that’s the most important thing.

I know of what I speak. Perfectionism likes to show up in my life in my “addiction” to learning. My natural inclination is to try to know everything humanly possible about whatever I want to do before giving it a try. Now curiosity is a treasured part of my personality type and I will always have a love of learning and discovery, but when I use it to hide behind, that’s when it becomes a hindrance to me – keeping me from achieving my goals.

I know they’re cliches, but having these two phrases in mind have really been handy:

• Sometimes done is better than perfect
• Sometimes good is good enough

The world will never be perfect. Your house, your knowledge, your equipment, your bank account, your talent will never be perfect. However, trust that what you need will be “good enough” to begin and keep going.

Consider: How does perfectionism hold you back from from the things you’d like to accomplish or the dreams you hold in your heart? What new thoughts and habits can you cultivate to keep perfectionism from stealing from you anymore?

Developing the Courage to Lead

10/28/2009 9:26:00 AM

What does it take to have courage and emotional strength to lead others?

At its most basic level it takes several necessary ingredients:

1. To be aligned in Personal Integrity.

2. A Vision that emerges out of that place of Integrity.

3. An Awareness of your Duty to fulfill that Vision in order to maintain that Integrity.

4. A Commitment to that Duty.

Well you may be thinking that I’ve got it backwards here, after all doesn’t it take courage to do all of that?

In fact the courage and emotional strength emerge as a result of following the steps above. Let me elaborate.

To have Personal Integrity essentially means aligning yourself in every way with your personal inner truth i.e. that inner emotional wisdom that is your reference point for all the decisions that you make.

You see there must be such a reference point within for you to be able to gauge whether a decision you make is in your best interests or not. Without it you would be totally adrift with no way of knowing whether you were on the right track or not.

If you sit with that inner wisdom in a state of quiet reflection you will begin to recognize which path is the right one for you to follow in any particular endeavor. All other paths will be automatically excluded because they simply will not feel right or resonate with you at a core emotional level.

As you become aware of your path it comes into focus and becomes your Vision. It is what you were always meant to pursue. It has always been within you. When you recognize it you will likely start to feel peaceful, passionate, joyful, focused, clear, a desire to embrace it and unwavering in your desire to achieve it. That is because deep within you will know that this is what will lead to your sense of personal fulfillment.

In addition, as you become aware of it you also begin to recognize that it is in fact your Duty to yourself to pursue it. That is because your entire sense of fulfillment depends on it. In your heart you will know emotionally that there is no other way. This awareness draws you into aligning your life with that Vision in such a powerful way that nothing can move you from it.

Therein lays the Commitment to the Vision. In other words your felt desire or passion for that Vision is where the Commitment will spring from.

As you make this internal alignment you will feel such a surge of inner strength and courage that you will likely feel your heart open up in a way you’ve never experienced before in your life. It will feel so uplifting that you may think that you’ve been lifted right off the ground.

When you find yourself in this state others around you will feel the energy that you radiate in such a way that they will be drawn to it and feel buoyed up by it as well. It will remind them in some way of their own desire for what you are feeling.

In fact it will help them realign with their own inner wisdom and all of that will set off a powerful positive chain reaction that will draw others in as well.

The chain reaction that I’m talking about will in fact have the power to change fundamentally the nature of this reality in ways that are completely in alignment with our hearts’ dreams for it.

Isn’t that what leadership was meant to be about, to help improve the nature of this reality?

The Power of Belief, and It’s Affect On You

Everyday, as you wake up, think and be grateful that you are alive.

I have a precious human life, I am not going to waste It.

I am going to use all my energies to develop myself, to expand my heart out to others, and to achieve enlightenment in all things. I am going to have kind thoughts to others, and will not get angry, or think ill of others.

I will benefit others as much as I can.”

The Dalai Lama.

This is a very inspiring and revealing statement, and one that we can all benefit, by applying either in whole, or part.

I wanted to expand on this thought today, as by mastering it, we are able to create anything we desire, by action.

Imagine for a moment, how everything you see was created by someone’s belief that they could have it.

It doesn’t matter if it is a small garden in the corner of someone’s home, or a fancy park, or building… they were all first conceived in someone’s mind, and then developed to fruition.

By believing in the things you want, and recognising that being grateful for all you have, as well as your future things that you want to bring into your life, will greatly help in manifesting those things into your life.

I understand this can be difficult to grasp, but it really does make sense, and can be applied over time and time again.

It works for me, and has worked for hundreds of others, and will work for you too.

For more information, you can see Karim Hajee’s Book Creating Power, as well as the Intuition Zone.
