I feel very privillaged to have been able to benefit from reading this fine book by Norman Vincent Peal. The Art Of Living is a book written in a way that simply flows, and makes it easy to flow from page to page.

I think the best way I can describe it is like being uplifted, and seeing that something that seemed so difficult explained in a really simple and straight forward way. I genuinely believe that this is a talent that should be cherished, in that it is not easy to always convey ideas in the written word.

In my case, I am practicing daily, and I think, am getting better at it, but realize there is a still a way to go. However, my point today, being that I want to share a great book with you, as well as the point of it.

We all face problems, it is a part of daily living.  However, for many of us, we can easily become defeated by this, until we understand the importance of problems in our lives.

Problems in Our Lives

You might well be asking if I have lost my mind. I can assure you that I am very lucid, and equally, sincere in that problems make us better people, and can also help us become wealthier.

What and how, I might hear you ask.

Look at it this way.

When we are faced with a problem, ( I prefer to call it a challenge), we are -laced in a position where we must solve it. If we did not have any probnlems, you might think that it would be a simple life, but actually, you would stagnate, and become less effective and happy.

Problem solving is what makes the world go round, and us better peopkle.

Look at the simple example, as one idea, of books.

By having books, and reading them, we are able to answer questions we had (problems), and find solutions.

Has it ever occurred to you that the wealthiest people on earth are problem solvers.

They are CEO,s managers, and the like.

Equally, in your own life, you can create a solution to people’s problems, in the form of writing an eBook, available for distribution on the net, etc.

It is so much easier to self publish books online these days, as an example.

There really is so much that you can do to move ahead…

Just grab your ideas, and go with them.

It’s about actioon, and that will deliver the results from life you want.

The Power of Positive Thought Vibration

Do you believe in the power of thought? The Law of Attraction, as explained in the movie ‘The Secret’, tells us that what we think of the most is what we will attract. The movie introduces us to the idea that we are responsible for the lives we live. If we choose to have more and to be happy, then we will have more and be happy.

Our thoughts are energy and energy vibrates at a certain frequency. By changing the frequency of the vibrations, we can change what we attract. We are all part of a whole and we can affect the universe with our vibrations. If we choose to love unconditionally and to live our lives for others, we can affect the whole world.

There are groups around the world dedicated to living for peace. They gather to project peace. They have managed to affect war zones and city crime statistics with their thoughts. It sounds amazing but they have tested the effects of their experiments in peace.

The people were trained to change their thought frequencies and large groups gathered with the specific purpose of creating peace. Fortunately, it only takes a small percentage of the population to affect large numbers of people. It would only take a few thousand to affect an entire country.

If we could change our thought vibrations a little and improve our lives and the lives of those around us would not that be worthwhile. Imagine being responsible for the creation of a better life for all. It is possible. We can improve our world by thought. Think the best of those around you. Be happy and love your friends and family. You can change the world.

All of this is explained very well in the book by Norman Vincent Peal on the Art of Living. I read it first over twenty five years ago, and still refer to it regularly, as it is a fantastic book, on allowing you to reach a higher level of understanding, and better still, bring to you, all that you desire.

What Ever You Do That is Right, Will Turn Out Right

Your Desire, and Strength of Purpose is a Strength

How often have you ever thought that you might consider giving up?  Heaven forbid.  I really do encourage you to remain a determined indivual.

How many time have you come close to giving up, and thought that everything was too hard?

Can you imagine life without the light bulb?  Thomas Edison tried over 1000 different ways to make the lightbulb work. What if he gave up after the 999th time?

I know this examople has probably been used to death, but it really does illustarte a strong point.

Hence, I wanted to ensure that you have this point come acrioss clearly.

I, as a self employed, entrepreneur understand that I must always keep on going, and so too, must you, irrespective of your position in life, your job, or anything else.

This is what makes us all successful.

Norman Vincent Peal explained it well in his book on Positive Thinking, that I still read my copy of today, over twenty years later..

TNAOLIt’s actually quite interesting, but another great writer, N Hill, wrote of a very similar point in his book, Think and Grow Rich.

Both writesr have very clearly mentioned the importance of sticking to your guns.

If you have a vision, an idea, or a determined position in life to reach, then let no one else take that from you. In some cases, it is better to not even be too public about all your views- just get on with ot quietly, and in a determined, progressive manner.

It really does work, I assure you.

Equally, do not allow yourself to hang around negative people, as they are like the suction of the life from you, they will take your energy.

You need to guard against this form of ‘theft’, and surround yourself by high quality people, and great books, such as the two examples above.

I also can pioint you to many more success books here.

It’s not unreturned love, from a certain someone, that hurts, Martin. It’s just that sometimes the “thing” you’re focusing on, keeps you from feeling all the love that others are sending you.

You Can Achieve Everything with Belief In Yourself

It is incredible, how much you can achieve, by believing in yourself.

I know this, as I have proven it on more than one occasion, and started from a very negative point too, when I had little or no confidence in myself.

I was the shy, retiring type, that had few friends, and spoke little as well. I did, however, know that to change< I was going ti have to make the effort, so I took the initiative to read, a book as often as possible.

I just read and read, and finally, reacjed a point, when I was starting to notice positive results.

I did not read just any books.

I mean, yes, I certainly read many fiction books, but I am talking here about personal development, book son developing my belief in myself, and then, also in acting.

You see, this belief thing is a critical starting point, but you also need to follow through with the action part. Unfortunately, this is the point where many fail.

However, we will not do that as I am here to help you.

I know that sounds a little presumptuous, but stay with me here.

I found this information out in the Norman Vincent Peal Book- The Power of Positive Thinking. It has now been replaced with the Art of Living.  In addition, I have also made sure that I read a little from that book every day, as that made a massive difference.

You see, we humans can be a little stubborn at first, and new ideas do not always sit well at first. However, what if we keep exposing ourselves to an idea, and let it sink in?

That is what I am talking about here.

Give yourself the time to become at one with the idea, and practice it to start, even if you do not understand.

Just doing it will make a big difference, and I know this works, as I have tried it.

I have also voraciously read from other personal development books.

When I started my slef help book store, I knew that I would be able to help many ore people come into contact with these fine ideas. That is why I started the store, and am regularly promoting it.

I am not ashamedm in so doing.

My regular reading has transformed me from a  shy, retiring person ionto the confident, outgoing adult I am today.

I know it can work for you as well.

In addition, I also make a point of participating in a prepared session of a few minutes a day at the start of each day, picturing, and believing in myself for the day.

Everything that we can conceive in our minds, we can achieve.
