Millionaire Mindset and Our Lives and Actions

There is no doubt that our outer lives are the result of our inner thoughts  and belief systems. I also understand this is probably not news to you. However, what may be news is that we can condition our thought and change our circumstances, no matter where we are in life.

I think that most of you, my readers, know that I like to be reading books and manuals to make sure that I am always giving to my mind, nutrients like a gardener would tend their garden. In a similar way, I am making sure that I am always nourishing my soul and mind and reading daily. It is very valuable and I just this morning, read a book on the Millionaire Mindset. It was not actually new information, but was so well presented that it forced me to think about the subject in a new light.

This is the very point that I want to make, in that we are all able to learn from different perspectives and that is very important indeed. If I can give you just  one tip today, it is to make a point of reading at least one chapter in a book daily. If you are not a voracious reader, this may seem an onerous task, but I think you will find that you will quickly reach this goal and also start to enjoy and look forward to each successive reading session,. I know I certainly do, and even though I read for pleasure and learning, the learning happens almost automatically and the pleasure is just there.

I am so grateful for the love of reading as it has allowed  me to really open my eyes to the wonders of the world. I think it would be unlikely if I would be able to say that I have come as far as I have had I not been a reader of as much material as I do read already.

It is for this very reason that I am hoping to inspire you to read and take up this very important task which I truly wish for you to become a habit.

I have heard it said that for a habit to form, we need to do perform a task repetatively for a period of 21 days. At that point, it is a habit, and if you imagine a typical book having  ten chapters, that is two books read in twenty one days. Imagine the amount of knowledge you will be able to acquire and enact in the period of a year.

I think you get my point here- I genuinely wish for you to manage a successful transition from non reader to reader of you are not reading as much as you should be.

Is Happiness Around The Corner?

For lots of people, happiness is just around the corner. They just need to get their degree, a particular job, a promotion, or a raise. Maybe they're waiting to get married or have a child. Perhaps they will be happy when they retire.

Alfred D' Souza said, "For a long time it seemed to me that life was about to begin. But there was always some obstacle in the way, something to be gotten through first, some unfinished business, time still to be served, or a debt to be paid. Then life would begin. At last it dawned on me that these obstacles were my life." John Lennon put it another way, "Life is what happens while you are making other plans."

The point is our lives are happening now. If we are to get the satisfaction and fulfillment we want, we have to learn to draw pleasure and joy from everything that happens to us and around us because these experiences are the very essence of our life. The more conscious we are that life consists of the journey, not the destination, the more likely we are to get the most out of it.

So, if there are things you want to do, begin to fit them in now or accept the fact that you can be happy whether or not you do them.

Happiness isn't just around the corner. It's now or it's never.??The good news is you have everything you need to be happy. Philosophers, poets, and scientists all agree it can't be attained through money, prestige, or power. Happiness is not a fact, it's a mindset. All you need is optimism and gratitude.

Implentation of Change – A Personal Leadership Challenge
By Billy Arcement

As we move into the New Year, what is it about your life, career and/or personal accomplishments that you want to change in 2010? Don't take this question lightly. It is filled with deep thinking requirements.

Change, just for change sake, is not what this question is about. Rather, it's designed to make you become very introspective and think about what worked for you in 2009 and what didn't work. Below is a list of other questions to help you "dig deeper" as you ponder where you'd like to be at the end of 2010.

1. Is your life as happy as it can or should be? If not, why not?

2. What do you do that you could do every day of your life?

3. Are you happy with your job? I mean really happy!

4. What might you change about the way your approach your work?

5. Do you feel you are using all of your potential and intellectual capabilities?

6. What area of knowledge should you shore up in the coming year that, if mastered, would help you make giant strides?

7. What relationships in your life could be better?

8. What can you do to make them better?

9. Do you tend to blame others when things go wrong or have you been able to accept personal responsibility?

10. Is your income at a level that sustains the lifestyle you'd like to have?

11. What can you do to increase the amount of money you earn?

12. Have you truly mastered the art of fiscal responsibility?

13. Are you debts too high and your income too low?

14. Do you love your work? Is it a pleasure to start each working day? Is it causing stress?

15. What are several ways in which you can retain more of your income?

16. Are you happy to be in the company of the people you call "your friends?" If not, why not? If yes, why yes?

17. How much time do you spend with family each day in meaningful interactions?

18. Do you take breaks during the year to get away from the job?

19. Are you promotable? If not, why not? Is so, why so?

20. What is the number one accomplishment that must be reached by the end of 2010?

Well, did you find these questions challenging enough for you? I don't want to add stress to your life but I do want you to engage in the deepest form of self-evaluation you've ever attempted. We are immune to what is happening economically today and simply surviving is a challenge many of us face. Rapid recovery may be difficult but it is not impossible if one puts the correct plans in place. Understand these plans will be unique to you. But getting to the answers will come more easily if you begin the planning activity with the previous twenty questions. Then, add more questions until you've developed and scripted a workable plan. Get into action with the right mindset and information and 2010 just might be the best year yet.

More Pleasure Or More Suffering – The Choice is Yours – Cleansing the Mind Body and Spirit Has Power

At a gut level everyone knows how many nuggets of ill feeling emotions are carried about. For some there is a truckload of people places and things for which they project a ‘negative’ emotion. We know that energy is what we are feeling, be it wild and furious anger or a passionate, pleasurable state of joy. When people stop to look they understand that feelings and emotions are distinct from the labels or conceptual words and descriptions we assign to them. You can easily alter the conceptual story of your life when you see it is in your interest to do so.

In 1976 I had the opportunity to participate in the est training, that brilliant package Werner Erhard provided to look at the mechanism behind the stage of the life we were living. What I experienced was quite exiting but I want to mention something I saw occur on more than one occasion. I saw a man in his seventies who I thought was curved forward and about five feet tall. His demeanor was one of hardened apathy. He did not smile. During his observation in the training he recognized that he had tightly locked away in his body, anger, resentment and hate for people, not specific people, just people in general who he thought was the reason for the loss of his first love 50 years earlier.

When he recognized that all his life he focused his attention on everything he hated about people and that there was nothing good that he could find about anyone, he wept uncontrollably. He raised his hand and shared this with the group. The entire room was able to in one way or another relate. When he left the training on the final day he walked fully upright and was actually about six feet two, his once seemingly crouched over crippled body was no longer and he had a grin on his face so wide as to make you feel good just looking at him. This was not the same man! The point is, the emotions we harbor create the conditions of our life and are worth consideration. Greater joy is always the opportunity.

Some people will tell you they have no ill feelings towards anyone or anything. These are wonderful people to meet, you simply feel good around them. Most people are basically good and don’t want to be aware of the ill feelings they have towards anything. But it can easily occur; after all it doesn’t seem natural to feel good about the teacher who humiliated your child or the insurance company who did not side in your favor, or the government who keeps raising your taxes.

A person that has feelings of anger or hate towards the government or say people of a difference race are sadly doomed to cultivate those emotions by default. What I mean is anytime anything reminds them of the government or people of another race, those ‘negative’ emotions brew. When you understand completely that energy precedes everything, you begin to recognize the harm you are inflicting upon your own reality. The exciting thing to know is change is as easy as turning yourself from moving west to moving east. You simply choose to give attention to a better feeling thought about whatever it was you were just experiencing. Even if it is a very small better thought.

I was a news junky years ago and it was clearly negative to me, didn’t matter what side of the argument, it brought up less than good feelings emotions in me. I stopped giving my attention to that in one day. There are two directions one can move in. One is towards better feeling and emotions or away from better feelings and emotions. That simplifies everything. My deliberate choice to reach for better feeling thoughts dramatically altered my life.

Learning to inch your way to higher states of vibration will enable you to alter things as you wish them to be. Every situation and circumstance in life finds you at a crossroad with the opportunity of choosing how you feel about it and more importantly which emotional direction you are going to move in. Every thought dynamic that captures your attention is like a stepping stone which allows you to see the contrast and you can step to a similar thought or move to a thought that feels better. That choice is always available to you. Why that is important is simply because thoughts are energy first. Nothing in the physical universe including your thoughts, circumstances and situations came to be without energy formulating first.

All form is, thoughts you entertained long enough. We live in an attraction based universe and thoughts seek out like thoughts. So really a thought experienced is a multitude of thoughts gathered together because of the tendency to give attention to them. Thoughts exist in the first moments of the past, therefore you cannot change them. To change the thoughts which are coming requires that you evoke better feelings for it is from there that thoughts arise. We do this by deliberately choosing it.

Here are some places to look at how you feel and usually you can tell by the conversations you have about them. There are hundreds of things which are vibrating in are our universe that began with a single thought. The schools and the companies we do business with such as the utility companies and the banks and the place you work. There are the neighbors and your annoying cousin and there is the health insurance industry. Refreshments in theaters are overpriced and there are interesting highway drivers. There are the commercials on TV, and on and on.

Remember your goal is to upgrade how you feel about things keeping your focus of attention rising. A healthy mind, body and spirit, affords you the pleasure of life to unfold, as the world is filled with an abundance of wonder and joy for everyone to experience. It is yours to live in as you choose.

As a practice you can begin to and develop the vision of how you see yourself in relationship to everything in your life. And you can deliberately choose the best you can find in everything. The basis for this knowledge is the law of attraction which I recommend you study. You can search me on Amazon to read more on the practical applications of this law.
