Millionaire Mindset and Our Lives and Actions

There is no doubt that our outer lives are the result of our inner thoughts  and belief systems. I also understand this is probably not news to you. However, what may be news is that we can condition our thought and change our circumstances, no matter where we are in life.

I think that most of you, my readers, know that I like to be reading books and manuals to make sure that I am always giving to my mind, nutrients like a gardener would tend their garden. In a similar way, I am making sure that I am always nourishing my soul and mind and reading daily. It is very valuable and I just this morning, read a book on the Millionaire Mindset. It was not actually new information, but was so well presented that it forced me to think about the subject in a new light.

This is the very point that I want to make, in that we are all able to learn from different perspectives and that is very important indeed. If I can give you just  one tip today, it is to make a point of reading at least one chapter in a book daily. If you are not a voracious reader, this may seem an onerous task, but I think you will find that you will quickly reach this goal and also start to enjoy and look forward to each successive reading session,. I know I certainly do, and even though I read for pleasure and learning, the learning happens almost automatically and the pleasure is just there.

I am so grateful for the love of reading as it has allowed  me to really open my eyes to the wonders of the world. I think it would be unlikely if I would be able to say that I have come as far as I have had I not been a reader of as much material as I do read already.

It is for this very reason that I am hoping to inspire you to read and take up this very important task which I truly wish for you to become a habit.

I have heard it said that for a habit to form, we need to do perform a task repetatively for a period of 21 days. At that point, it is a habit, and if you imagine a typical book having  ten chapters, that is two books read in twenty one days. Imagine the amount of knowledge you will be able to acquire and enact in the period of a year.

I think you get my point here- I genuinely wish for you to manage a successful transition from non reader to reader of you are not reading as much as you should be.

Reading Motivational Books – How to Get the Most Out of Them

My advice to you on reading motivational books would be, don’t read them. You don’t read a motivational book, you study it. Motivational books have to be studied thoroughly if you hope to get anything out of them.

You are better off reading one motivational book twenty five times rather than reading twenty five books one time. The reason for that is that getting to understand what the author has to say is simply not enough. The material has to be assimilated, digested and eventually becoming a part of who you are.

One of the difficulties of reading a motivational book is that the mind has a pernicious way of playing tricks on us. The way that is does that is by transforming whatever that we are reading in such a way that it will be conform to our previously held beliefs.

We all have deeply entrenched beliefs. Those beliefs may or may not be valid but they are part of how we think and what we believe to be true. So, changing those beliefs is not an easy task.

As an example, most of us believe that if we do not get the expected result when we try something it would be considered a failure. In reality, it was not a failure. We tried something and got the logical results. That is not a failure, it’s the end result of an experiment.

If we are serious about reading a book, it should be read like if it was a letter or a message from a lover. Each word, each sentence is evaluated to assure that we understand perfectly what the author is trying to convey.

After reading and important or meaningful sentence, we should close the book and write down what we’ve just read, then compare the two versions, word for word. Many times, we’ll find out that we had gotten the meaning all wrong. Our mind was trying to trick us into holding onto our previously held beliefs.

Personal Development and reading motivational book is mostly about changing our mindset. Not an easy task. And certainly not one that can be accomplished with passive or speed reading.

There are at least three motivational book that deserve to be studied this way. They are:

Awaken the Giant Within by Anthony Robbins

Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill

The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen R. Covey

If you are willing to put in the time and effort to study thoroughly these three books, your life will be transformed forever. They contain just about everything you need to access to a level of success and happiness that you never thought possible before.

It is said that what you don’t know cannot arm you. That’s simply not true. Success is a science and not a fluke. You need to know the principles and the techniques necessary to acquire success in life and in your life. Those three books contain almost all that information. Now, all that you have to do is to learn and apply them, and the world will be your oyster.

The #1 reason to increase your inner strength is keeping yourself ready to strive in your world. Your world consists of your daily life, relationship and business. Personal Development is the one time that you can focused about what is in for me without guilt. The amazing part is it becomes more how the people around you are impacted with your renewed mindset. The more time you spend on the inside, the more powerful you become on the outside. The old saying goes that your personality is formed by the people you meet and the books that you read. Books consist of any type of media that you are exposed to such as compact disk (CD), reading articles, magazine, music etc. When I sold products door to door, I had days when I knocked doors for hours without getting in to show my product.

I had to work harder on being mentally fit to open the van door to knock on the next door. The power I felt when I sold such a high value high cost product may never be matched again. The fact remains that over the years as I worked in the business world environment; mentally my positive energy was depleted or almost disappeared. The life of routine and responsibilities is detrimental to the positive mental attitude that is required to succeed in life. My inner strength was depleted after all these years of working in the retail and restaurant industries for over 15 years.

I started to refocus my energy and started reading books and listening to CDs. I improved my self confidence significantly and my inner strength increased. Your commitment to your personal development is the only determining factor on how well it will help you. If you truly and honestly look at your inner self, then the results maybe a more fulfilled life, improved relationship and business success. My positive energy has been rejuvenated and will be able to take on my world in a more positive way. I have achieved the success that I visualized on a daily basis in my life.

Personal Development allows you to do what is in the best interest of you that allow everyone in your life to benefits. Other benefits includes increasing your the self discipline to help you succeed in business. If you deprive your relationship of time, energy and love then how can you make an impact? You must work on your inner strength to help you become more successful in life, relationships and business.

They say that learning by experience is the best way to learn. That’s great! Except that the experiences of others may be a better teacher to minimize your pain and your scars.

1. Read books and blogs about personal development. By reading books and blogs, you’ll come to talk with great people who surmounted great odds. Right now, blogs are very popular means of talking with people and understanding what they have to say. Personal development blogs can help you look at your own experience and compare it with those of the blog authors.

2. Read personal development blogs thoroughly. When you read such blogs, don’t just skim through them. Rather, you should read them thoroughly so that you can fully grasp the ideas and insights that the authors are saying. When you do, your own self-growth journey will be immensely improved.

3. Keep notes and apply them to your life. When you are reading personal development blogs, you should keep a notebook or a journal with you. Jot down important insights so that you can apply them in your life.

4. Understand the issues you are facing in your life. By reading through these blogs, you can also understand yourself better through the issues being presented in the blogs. You may find yourself nodding in agreement or recognize the ways in which the experiences of others resonate with your own.

5. Keep a journal and create a personal development blog. If you want, you can also create your own personal development blog [http://penstalker.com/personaldevelopmentplan] so you can start telling others about the insights and lessons you have learned so far.

“Reading is to the Mind What Exercise is to the Body”, Said Richard Steele

Reading helps in every sphere of our lives as it enriches our mind as well as develops our personality. In the growing world of internet, still there are vast majority of people who still consider reading books essential. My personal opinion goes on the same direction. Reading is a means of language acquisition of communication, and of sharing information and ideas. Reading to young children is a recommended way to instill language and expression, and to promote comprehension of text. It is an important skill and it is very important for us to develop this skill in children since childhood, for an excellent brain and personality development.

Books are a great source of ideas, big and small. We all read something or the other but for different purposes. It varies from person to person just as the reading choices vary from one another. Some people read to develop more knowledge, to be entertained and laugh, to engage and interact. Reading is typically an individual activity and a very personal. It helps in personal development of an individual. We read very often to escape from the tensions and stress of life, to address boredom and the inexorable progress of time. It is an excellent way to learn, know other’s opinions, to be informed, to understand others (individually and culturally), to get inspired and communicate better and to see things from a different perspective. It helps us to research and keep up-to-date with society, and even connect with like-minded people. It gives us an opportunity to travel to different landscapes and, sometimes through different periods in time. It’s an escape certainly, but more than that, it’s a voyage as seen through another’s eyes. It often help us enjoy and love the different situations, people and places and cultures. It is amazing to read books written by authors from years and years ago.

People who love reading have a fixed time for reading in their busy routine. It helps them to relax and escape from the stress of our day-to-day lives. It can transport us to another time or place and it is a great feeling of seeing or doing or experiencing something different. People have special reading corner for themselves and some people give importance to reading in silence and have separate reading room and some people love to read with light music and even some people read before sleeping. Many people love reading in bathroom because they feel it is one of the few rooms in the home where privacy is routinely respected. A child may burst into a parent’s bedroom unannounced, or a spouse may share time in a den or living room, but the bathroom is generally considered the home’s Fortress of Solitude.

Reading Books has always had advantages to other things in life whether using internet or watching television. It also is the most common interest of the people who rise in life and the most important reason of success in the life of people.
