Comparing Ourselves To Others- Considerations

I think on reflection, that it is very common or normal for us to compare ourselves to others. However, again, it comes down to what we do with that comparison that matters. I thin you know what I mean.

After all, if we come across someone we are impressed with, we may decide to become more like them, or achieve similar levels of success, as an example. In this case, it is an inspiration and a great way to go. It is also my recommendation. I know it is possible to sometimes consider feeling blue that we do not measure up as best we would like, when compared to other people. Naturally, that is simply not an option that is allowed and we must force ourselves to be disciplined a determined to not fail in this regard. I know we can all fall into this trap and it is one we must guard against.

However, as a corollary, we know that we can use other people to look up to as an inspiration and follow on from that. That is where the Bob Proctor Six Minute System really shines as well.

The Real Laws of Attraction – Why Positive Affirmations Don’t Work!

The Real Laws of Attraction – Why Positive Affirmations Don't Work!
By Ken Keis

"When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change." – Dr. Wayne Dyer, Author: "The Power of Intentions"

Overall Your Life is a Reflection of What You Really Think and Feel You Deserve-No More, No Less!

In the past couple of years, several books on the subject of Attraction have been published. But recently some new thinking has been put forth to refute some of the past motivational dogma.

Do you know individuals who don't achieve the levels they would like to or that every time they take a step forward, they seem to take a step back? I will outline a couple reasons why that might be happening. Science has proven that everything in life is made up of energy; our personal lives are no different. Have you ever walked into a room with tension so thick, someone later said, "you could have cut it with a knife"? Or when one of your friends has met the love of their life and you say, "you look so happy, you are glowing." How can we not only see the emotion but FEEL it, too? Welcome to the science and Law of Attraction. Each of us is like a magnet; we are either giving off positive or negative energy/attraction. There are no neutral magnets. What we are attracting into our lives is reflective of which end of the magnet we are activating.

You attract to your life whatever you give your attention to. If you focus on the fact that you have little money, poor health, or few meaningful relationships, the Law of Attraction will respond by giving you more of what you are focusing on. Of course, most people don't really want more of the things they lack, but because they are putting focus and energy toward the negative, more negativity happens.

You can not not think of something. At this very moment, I ask you not to think of a black bear. Please don't picture a black bear, black bear, black bear, or a black bear. Almost everyone reading this has visualized a black bear. So just as in the black bear your thoughts are your focus. Let me explain.

Your language, words, and most important-the feelings (energy)-behind the words are critical to your intentionally improving your condition. Remember, like a magnet, you are always attracting energy. The question is: are you being a positive or negative magnet?

The research is clear that our conscious and unconscious mind filters out the words don't, not, and no. Just like the black bear example, the statements of Don't be late, Don't forget, or Don't panic result in your mind's focusing on the wrong things. Whatever you give your attention or focus to, you attract into your life, whether you want them or not.

Rephrasing the way we think and what we say (the words) are critical to moving forward. For example, you might go from "It's hard to find a partner" to "In the past, it was hard to find a partner" or "It is easy to find a partner."

Life is about duality; there is an opposite to everything. Poor is the opposite of wealthy, healthy the opposite to unhealthy, and so on. To take advantage of the Law of Attraction, first you must be clear about what you want. The best way to determine what you want is to identify those things in your life that you no longer want and then make a list of what you do want. Clarity is a very important part to this process, so the sharper your thoughts and statements, the better your future.

The next step is to be aware how each of your actions and choices is making you feel. It is not enough to have the right words; it is essential to understand the emotions that your words and thoughts cause you to have. The energy created by the emotions fulfills the Law of Attraction. If something on your list irritates you, remove it or keeping modifying it until you identify what energizes you toward a positive way of thinking, then do more of this.

Why do most affirmations not work? In the past we have been taught to make statements in the positive and in the present tense to move us toward a new goal or objective, such as "I am a millionaire" or "I have a healthy body weight of ______."

Most of us, myself included, have not had a high level of success with this process. Why?

If attraction works equally on the emotional energy level as with the spoken word, what do you think your emotional energy would be around affirmation statements that you feel might be unattainable or even untrue?

Your internal feelings/vibrations of doubt will come through in your affirmation process. This information contradicts most teachings in the area of affirmations and explains why many affirmations have not worked. Your mind identifies the affirmation as a lie and your energy and attraction process supports the fact that the statement is a lie.

There is, however, a break-through alternative. Credit for this breakthrough concept goes to Michael J. Losier, an expert in the field the Law of Attraction. His process is to get us to create desire statements that acknowledge we are in the process of becoming a millionaire.

So rather than saying "I am a Millionaire," try a new format of "process and projection": "I am in the process of attracting an ideal financial situation that allows me to do and enjoy all the things that bring joy into my life."

That is just an example but already I suspect you are experiencing how your mind and energy would be more accepting and positive to the latter statement. As you progress, update your statements to reflect your new emotional response to each of your "going forward" statements. This single concept significantly improved my personal energy and attraction success.

There is a final part to the Law of Attraction process: remove any limiting beliefs that would hinder your success. The first steps will work when this next element of allowing is deployed.

"Allowing is the absence of doubt and doubt is often created from limiting beliefs. A limiting belief is a repetitive thought that prevents you from attracting your desire."
Michael J. Losier
Author: Law of Attraction

Example: your current belief or thought is that there are no more great real estate deals; they are all gone.
You want to challenge this belief by asking yourself some questions to replace this limiting belief position.
Q: Has anyone in the country attracted a great real estate deal lately?
A: Yes.
Q: How many people are doing that today, yesterday, last month?
A: It is possible that hundreds of people found great real estate deals and that hundreds will continue this year.

You end up with a statements like these.

o Hundreds if not thousands of people found and invested in great real estate deals last year.
o Thousands of people will find and invest excellent real estate deals in the next several months.
o Every day hundreds of great real estate investment opportunities become available.

Can you see how you can, via these questions, reduce and eliminate your doubt?

Of course, much more can be written about the Law of Attraction. Start by implementing what you have learned and continue. If you are already using this technology, make sure you are teaching others.
To attract more into your life of what you want and less of what you don't want, follow these action steps.

1. Acknowledge that your emotions are part of the Law of Attraction.
2. Remember that what you focus on, you will attract-wanted or unwanted.
3. Be aware of the energy in which you are living: positive or negative.
4. Avoid the words don't, not and no. Today pay attention your language; become conscious of don't, not and no. Then make a conscious effort to eliminate them from your word choices. (Note: Of course you will still use these words such as no more coffee, No Thank You etc. but in the context of wanting something.)
5. Be clear about what you want and desire. Simply list on one page your desires. This is not a goal list but your desires in the major areas of your life.
6. Words are not enough; you must also feel good about the words. Rephrase your positive affirmations to I desire or I am in the process statements.
7. You must remove doubt before you will experience your desires. Question your doubts using the process of creating allowing statements. Most of our doubt is false; identify and challenge yourself that others are being successful in your desire.
8. Stay focused on what you want, not what you don't want. No black bears, right?

Living a Life of Your Dreams

Hi there today.

I have great news for you…

You often may have dreamt of the things you want and to do in your life.

Well, what if you changed that around from dreaming into reality?

I am not going to hype anything up at all, but rather tell you my thoughts and better still, show you the actions I apply to make my life the life it is today, of success, happiness, and fulfillment.

Yes, it is about action, doing, getting out of bed with a leap in your step, and really getting things done.

I have met and spoken with many people, many of them like you, with dreams, hopes desires. All very normal stuff here. However, many of these people go to the grave still dreaming, and not having achieved much of that which was in their daily dreams.

Now, if you think I have crushed your bubble. fear not,. I am here to prick your bubble, in the expectation of moving you to a point of achievement, success, and reflection of how well you are doing, and can still go….

How is that for a thought process?

I thought that would be rather nice.

Now, enough of the dreaming. Let’s get on with it.

This is where the Success Strategy System that I use, and have proven works, comes in.

You really need to use a guiding system, daily, in order to create a habit.

Following a habit for 21 days, will reinforce it, and it will become something that you will do without further thinking, in a good way, in this case.

I am reffering to setting up a positive habit, which is the same effort required to set up a bad one. So, we may as well do the right thing, and get ourselves on the right track.

I am really happy with the results I am getting from the Success in Six Minutes Program-

Let me tell you about the benefits.

You will be more focused, such that your energy will be used in a direction of your choosing, and not spread across so many wasted areas, that seemingly nothing gets done.

Do you remember ever doing a project you really wanted to get done?  An example might be painting the walls in your house.

I know when I did this, I got so engrossed, that I only slept a few hours, as I was so motivated to get the job done.

It took me just over a week to paint the whole house, and I felt really good about the job at the end. It is similar with the Six Minutes to Success System.

You wil be shown how to get so fired up that you just move forward, like a laser, with focus that is finely pointed.

Do you see the results in your mind’s eye that you can achieve here with this attitude?

I think you can see where I am coming from.

Another example is when I wanted to complete a [rpject online,as I wanted to start helping others see results, and receive their positive feedback.

Kindof like this entry.

I hope to assist you to be more motivated, and move in the direction that you desire.

We all have so much potential. How many times have you heard that phrase, or similar?  Well, let’s kick some butt, (pardon the expression), and move in the direction of our dreams, to become our dreams.

Do you have a burning Why?  Something that makes you cry, is a burning why.

I think you get the idea.

I look forward to hearing of your successes, so head today for the sky, and be your very best.

You can doe it. Have faith to initially start, and see, you will get there.

Why not be on the way now?

How Are You Seeing The World Around You?

I have been reading a magazine I regularly receive each month on marketing, and there was an article I really anted to tell you about, as soon as possible, as the contents of that article are able to change our entire outlook on everything, in our daily lives.

It is an article on the way we see life- our attitudes if you will.

It was really profound.

I understand this may be a very odd title to a web blog entry, but I spent some time reading an article that I simply felt needed to be put into words on all my websites, as the point is so far reaching and important.

This blog is all about personal development, and things you can do for extra income, tips for your life, and new subjects are being added all the time.

To Ponder More Thoughts

I wanted to add to my previous entry about full buckets, and ponder the different ways we could apply this thinking to our lives, and enhance both our, and other people’s lives.

Have you ever thought how a simple good deed, sometimes, as simple as a smile, can make the difference to soneone else, who may need a little encouragement.

I undetsrstand we don’t always want to have a financial expense in helping others (some do, but I’ll concentrate on the free, and sometimes, more valuable gifts, by their nature), but we can give much to others for free, that is of unbounded value to the recipient.

Have you ever seen someone needing help at the supermarket, taking something from a high shelf, or perhaps picked up something somone accidently dropped in the street?

If you look for these opportunities, there are numerous times in the average day where you can help, and feel really good, as well.

Equally, the same can be said for the way we behave when we come home.

Say you have had a long and tiring day.

It is possible you may just want a hot meal, and head to bed, or watch some TV.

When you come home, do you smile at those expectantly waiting for you?  or if you’re the one at home, do you smile at the new arrival at home?

For some of you, this may sound corny, but it really does make a difference.

Be your best, and think your best.

Also, take time to reflect, and be your best.

How Full Is Your Bucket of Life?

I understand this may be an unusual title, but wanted to both catch your attention, as well as make an important point, in my view.

This title is not entirely my own idea, but rather one, I saw in an advertisement and article in of all things, a marketing magazine.

The point of the story and title is that in life, we all carry a metaphorical bucket of emotions, which we can duly fill, or empty through our days.

How does this work?

It is a simple idea.

It is based on the way we approcah, and deal with other people, and the way we help them to feel better about themselves.

If we are walking in the street, and we see an elederly person having trouble crossingt he road, as an axample, we coul doffer to help them.

If accepted, this fills out bucket of goodwill, as well as their bucket of appreciation.

This is the best way I am able to explain this concept on the up side.

It is far better explained in the book, available from Amazon, on the very same subject of filling up your bucket.

How Full Is Your Bucket?: Expanded Anniversary Edition

On the down side, if we approach a person, and say something negative, like say they don;’t look very nice,we will be emptying their bucket, as well as ours.

Hence the question- How full is your bucket?

It is a great lesson here, to reflect on our lives, and see if we can do something to improve the days of those around us, and help ourselves at the same time.

To expand on this further, I feel we all need to take time in our busy lives for a little reflection, even if it is only for fifteen minutes a day- as this can really give us the boost we can all use, by being able to focus better on where we are heading.

Understanding this will often give us better direction, and when we are on a definite road, we are more likely to see, and be able to reach out to help others, as well as ourselves.

I’ll write more on this in the coming week.

To your best

Martin
